Capsule Closet Essentials
A closet stuffed to the brim but nothing to wear. The struggle is a familiar one as I find myself facing it every morning without fail. Piece after piece, I discard everything in my closet: too bright, too tight-fitting, too casual, clashing patterns. Nothing seems to go together or look good, and after stressful minutes of indecision, I reluctantly pick the least bad option, knowing that I will spend the rest of the day wishing I’d worn something else. This kicks off the urge to dive into a shopping spree as I convince myself that new pieces are essential to my collection: if I buy this it will make every outfit look good in the morning, I think.
