What St Andrews Students Are Wearing

Midterms are creeping closer, deadlines are stacking up, and despite the promise of spring break, St Andrews students are very much in their academic mindset. Add in North Sea winds, surprise rainshowers, and those long cobbled walks to the library, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for fashion that balances warmth, personality, and style.

So, what are students wearing while powering through essays, exams, and caffeine refills? Let’s take a look around town:

What ties all these looks together? Adaptability. St Andrews fashion during midterm season is about surviving the weather, making it to lectures, squeezing in gym time and practices, and still finding time for coffee dates and formal events.

There’s a little bit of everything: artful scarves, performance fleeces, thrifted necessities, party dresses, and cozy knits. Students are mixing practicality with personality, proving that even in the middle of stress, style doesn’t take a break.

So here’s to strong coffee, finished assignments, and jackets that can withstand a North Sea gust. Spring break is coming, but, until then, at least we’re dressing well.
